VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY AND PERIOD OF COVER
The McLaren Extended Service Contract is available on McLaren vehicles* that are under five years of age, have covered 100,000 miles or less at the time of purchasing the policy and have been
owned for a minimum of 90 days. Extended Service Contract can also be purchased from Mclaren Sterling on both a New and McLaren Qualified Pre-Owned vehicle


BREADTH OF COVERAGE

The Extended Service Contract covers all factory fitted components for mechanical and electrical failure, such as drivetrain and suspension systems, and includes labor. The total number of claims over the course of the policy is unlimited, and while the cost of one claim can be up to the value of the vehicle at the time the policy was purchased, all claims must be under this total value, allowing you the peace of mind to enjoy your McLaren day in, day out. The only exceptions are: 
• General maintenance, serviceable items and routine
adjustments required by wear and tear
• Batteries, tires, wheels, wheel balancing and/or alignment
• Paintwork, Bodywork, trims and upholstery
• Aftermarket accessories or non-original equipment,
components and systems not installed by the manufacturer
• Damage through incorrect or contaminated fuel
• Clutch renewal due to incorrect adjustment, misuse
or wear and tear
• Water ingress
• Software upgrades (unless part of a valid claim).

 
EXTENDED SERVICE CONTRACT 
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE*
Keeping your McLaren on the right track, wherever you may be, McLaren Extended Service Contract Roadside Assistance cover is an integral part of the Extended Service Contract program
and includes:

  • Roadside Assistance and Home Start. Whether you're near home or experiencing a driving adventure far away, we will send one of our highly trained roadside engineers to your assistance should you need a helping hand with your McLaren.
  • Recovery. In the unlikely event that you require recovery services while away from home, we will take you and your passengers to a destination of your choice.

ONWARD TRAVEL*
Should we recover your vehicle and not be able to fix it on the spot, or arrange a local repair, we are happy to assist with alternative travel arrangements to get you to your destination (subject to authorization).
This would allow you to choose from:
  •  One night's hotel accommodation
  •  A replacement vehicle for 48 hours (including insurance)^
  •  Reimbursement of reasonable public transport costs
^Please note, that you will not be entitled to a like-for-like replacement vehicle and all vehicles supplied will be subject to the terms and conditions of the hire car company who may require a deposit.
